In 1982, I made a trip to the DeYoung Museum in San Francisco to see an Ansel Adams lifetime retrospective show. After gaining a new appreciation for Adams’ legacy, I stopped at the store and purchased a 6×4 notecard of his picture of the Yosemite Valley titled “Yosemite Valley Clearing Storm.” I still have the note card in my desk drawer.
This is my image of a clearing storm in Yosemite from Inspiration Point. Just between you and me – I think mine is better!
