San Carlos Borroméo de Carmelo is the Spanish name of the Mission in Carmel, California. This is the door the Padres pass through to enter the front of the Basilica from the inner courtyard. It was a beautiful Spring day in April, I was struck by how photogenic the Bougainvillea made this passageway. This image reminds me of the doors I have passed through in life and encourages me to think about the doors yet to come.
